Neymar criticises Scott Brown

Barcelona forward Neymar criticises Celtic skipper Scott Brown for kicking him in their Champions League clash on Tuesday evening.

Barcelona forward Neymar believes that Scott Brown deserved to be sent off during the Spanish club's Champions League clash with Celtic on Tuesday evening.

Brown, whose side were beaten 1-0 after Cesc Fabregas struck late on, was handed a red card in the second period for kicking out at Neymar.

"Yes, Brown kicked me. Everyone can interpret it as they want to. Some kicks cannot be avoided. We should be looking at the limits of football and not trying to hurt anyone," Neymar told reporters at a press conference.

"But the most important thing is to get the win and that everyone has taken their responsibility. I'm very happy with the result. It's especially important to play in this tournament because, for me, it is the best one and this victory was very important for us.

"It was a great game, a very difficult and tough game physically, but I'm very happy with our victory. Nothing is easy but we'll try and get good results in our remaining games to make it as easy as possible to qualify for the next round."

Celtic boss Neil Lennon, however, has criticised the referee's decision to dismiss his skipper at Celtic Park.
