Sports Mole previews the Champions League Group G clash between Benfica and Barcelona in Lisbon.

Benfica will attempt to end a 30-year wait for victory over a Spanish side when they welcome Barcelona to Lisbon on Tuesday.

Benfica, who began their Champions League Group G campaign with a 0-0 draw against Celtic, have not lost in their domestic league this season.

In Barcelona they face a team who sits top of La Liga with six wins from six and a side who has lost just three of their last 24 away fixtures in the Champions League.

The last time Barcelona faced Portuguese opposition was in 2011 when they secured the UEFA Super Cup with a 2-0 victory over Porto.

Benfica will definitely be without Oscar Cardozo for the tie, but Rodrigo Lima is expected to feature following his brace at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Barcelona will be without Thiago with a knee injury, but Andres Iniesta could return to the side.

Recent form:

Benfica: WWDDW

Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Puyol, Mascherano, Abidal; Xavi, Busquets, Fabregas; Iniesta, Messi, Villa
