Pablo Piatti: "We can beat Barcelona"

Pablo Piatti claims that there is "no doubt" that Valencia can beat Barcelona next week.

Pablo Piatti has said that he has "no doubt" that Valencia can defeat Barcelona in the semi-final of the Spanish cup next week.

Piatti, 22, scored twice en route to a 7-1 aggregate win over rivals Levante in the last round in order to secure the club's semi-final berth.

While the Argentinian admits that it will be a "complicated" tie, he insists that his side have what it takes to emerge victorious.

"I have no doubt we can beat Barcelona," he told Spanish newspaper AS. "The team is passionate and we are looking forward to it.

They will be two very complicated matches and we will need great effort, but we will try to use all our weapons."

Valencia travel to Cantabria to face Racing Santander in La Liga this afternoon.
