Xavi: 'We want treble'

Barcelona midfielder Xavi calls on his team to complete a treble in the Champions League final against Juventus on June 6.

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has revealed that the Catalan outfit are desperate to win the treble this season.

Barca have already secured both the La Liga title and Copa del Rey crown, but Xavi, who won the treble with Barca in the 2008-09 season, wants more silverware in the Champions League final.

"We've done the double, and it's historic, but we want more. We can match that treble [of 08-09], so we'll see what happens," the midfielder told Tele Cinco.

"We've come [into the end of the season] very well, the coach has done an outstanding job to keep the squad fresh."

Xavi will leave Barcelona at the end of the season to join Al Sadd, but is widely expected to return to the Catalan outfit as a staff member in the future.
