Now better known as Manchester City's mastermind and arguably the best manager in world football, Pep Guardiola was once the on-field lynchpin of another all-conquering team.
The legendary Johan Cruyff made Guardiola his brains on the pitch for what would become known as the 'Dream Team', with the Spaniard going on to help Barca win the league title in each of his first four seasons with the club, in addition to the European Cup in 1991-92.
Another set of back-to-back league titles followed in 1997-98 and 1998-99 before Guardiola left Barcelona in 2001, having made 366 senior appearances during his 17-year stay at the club.
Indeed, Cruyff regarded Guardiola so highly that he included him in his all-time XI, and the 47-year-old continues to deliver the Dutchman's philosophy in his management now.
