By no means the most familiar name on this list, Laszlo Kubala is nonetheless a player known by all Barcelona fans as one of their greatest ever.
Honoured with a bronze statue outside Camp Nou, Kubala overcame more than most to establish himself as one of the all-time legends of the game, being forced to escape from communist Hungary while dressed as a Russian soldier in his youth.
The striker's Barcelona career may never have happened had he been involved in the plane crash which killed the entire Torino team in 1949, but Kubala - who was supposed to be representing the Italian outfit in a friendly - withdrew from the game at the last minute due to family reasons.
The former Czech Republic, Hungary and Spain international's story is compelling enough before he even made it to Camp Nou, then, and it only improved after his arrival as part of the legendary frontline which fired the club to five trophies in 1951-52.
In all, Kubala won 14 trophies during his time at Barcelona, including four La Liga crowns, and his impact was such that in 1999 - 38 years after leaving the club - a fan poll declared him as the greatest player in the club's history.
