Once regarded as Barcelona's greatest goalscorer until a certain Lionel Messi came along, Cesar Rodriguez held the club's scoring record in official competition for 57 years.

A remarkable strike rate of 232 goals in 351 official games including three separate seasons in which he averaged at least a goal per game in La Liga.

A Barcelona player from 1942 to 1955, Cesar was part of the legendary forward line which fired the club to five trophies in the 1951-52 season, alongside Laszlo Kubala, Estanislau Basora, Eduardo Manchon and Moreno.

Cesar won four more La Liga titles during his time at the club and 13 trophies overall to ensure his place in the Barcelona history books.
