If Pep Guardiola was the lynchpin of Johan Cruyff's 'Dream Team' then the Spaniard bestowed that same responsibility on Sergio Busquets when creating his own legendary Barcelona outfit.
Arguably one of the most underrated players in football history, Busquets has been a near-constant presence in the Barcelona midfield since breaking into the first team in 2008.
The 29-year-old may go about his business under the radar, but without his presence in holding midfield, the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Xavi would not have been able to exude so much influence over games during Barcelona's golden era.
As of the end of the 2017-18 season, the La Masia product has made 482 appearances for the first team, helping the club to 27 trophies including three Champions Leagues and seven La Liga titles.
