Lionel Messi pleased with "great victory" in El Clasico

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi takes to Facebook to reveal his delight with his team's 4-0 win over Real Madrid in Saturday's El Clasico at the Bernabeu.

Lionel Messi has revealed his delight after Barcelona recorded a 4-0 win at Real Madrid in Saturday's El Clasico.

Messi returned to the squad for the clash at the Bernabeu following almost two months on the sidelines with a knee problem.

The Argentine came off the bench in the second period of the clash and he has thanked his teammates for providing him with "a good feeling" on his return to action.

"A great victory in El Clasico and a good feeling on my return to the pitch. There's a long way to go, but we'll keep fighting to win every game we play in," he posted on his official Facebook account.

Luis Suarez scored twice for Barcelona in the resounding win, while Neymar and Andres Iniesta were also on the scoresheet as Barcelona moved six points clear at the top of the La Liga table.
