Barcelona centre-back Thomas Vermaelen will reportedly be available for the final stretch of the 2014-15 campaign.
The Belgian international joined Barca from Arsenal last summer, but has not made a single appearance for the Catalan outfit due to a long-term hamstring problem.
It was initially thought that the defender would return in the latter part of 2014, but surgery further pushed back his return date.
According to Inside Spanish Football, however, Vermaelen is now progressing well under the observation of first-team physiotherapist Xavi Linde.
It is thought that the 29-year-old could return to action next month.
