Athletic Bilbao vs. Atletico (Saturday, 6.00pm)

San Mames will play host to an intriguing La Liga affair on Saturday evening, as Athletic Bilbao welcome Atletico Madrid, with both sides yet to find their best form this season.
Athletic will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 victory over Valencia on Wednesday, while Atletico drew 0-0 with Espanyol at Wanda Metropolitano on the same night.

This is a tough match to call, and we are finding it very hard to separate them. There has not actually been a draw between these two sides since September 2021, but we believe that a tight game on Saturday will end with the spoils being shared.

Espanyol will be bidding to build on their impressive result against Atletico Madrid when they continue their La Liga campaign at home to Rayo Vallecano on Saturday evening.
The Catalan outfit picked up their first point of the season away to Atletico on Wednesday, while Rayo will enter this contest off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Barcelona on Tuesday.

Espanyol will certainly have been boosted by their point against Atletico, but Rayo have made a solid start to the campaign, and we are finding it tough to back them to lose here. We fancy Espanyol to score their first league goal of the campaign, but the hosts might have to settle for a share of the spoils.

Valencia vs. Villarreal (Saturday, 8.30pm)

Valencia will be bidding to avoid a fourth straight La Liga defeat at the start of the 2024-25 campaign when they welcome Villarreal to Mestalla on Saturday night.
Los Che are bottom of the table with zero points to show from three matches, while Villarreal occupy second spot, with a strong start seeing them collect seven points from an available nine.

Valencia desperately need to stop their losing run, but Villarreal are a classy outfit, and we can see the Yellow Submarine securing all three points to continue their excellent start to the campaign.
