Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba has been ruled out for three weeks with a hamstring injury sustained in his side's 3-2 victory over Sevilla in La Liga.
Alba departed the field after just 15 minutes and was replaced by Adriano.
The 24-year-old, who scored Spain's opening goal in their 2-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Finland last week, will miss Barcelona's opening Champions League matches against Ajax and Celtic.
Alba moved to Barcelona from Valencia last summer for a fee of £12m.
