Barcelona feel used by Neymar after he penned a new long-term deal at Paris Saint-Germain until 2025, according to a report.

Barcelona supposedly feel used by Neymar after the Brazilian attacker put pen to paper on a new long-term deal at the Parc des Princes.

The former Catalan attacker was initially due to see his contract run out in 2022, and he was strongly linked with a return to Camp Nou amid the uncertainty surrounding his future.

However, Neymar ultimately elected to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2025, and the decision has reportedly not gone down well with those at Camp Nou.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar did flirt with the idea of returning to Barcelona for the 2021-22 campaign, and the Catalan giants now feel like their former player used them as a bargaining chip to get the PSG deal that he craved.

The Brazilian attacker has talked up a reunion with Lionel Messi in recent months, but PSG are reportedly prioritising Kylian Mbappe's contract renewal instead of a move for the six-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Neymar has struggled with injuries throughout the 2020-21 campaign, but he nevertheless boasts seven goals and five assists from 15 Ligue 1 games this term.
