Cosmin Contra delighted with Camp Nou point

Getafe boss Cosmin Contra praises his side following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Camp Nou.

Getafe boss Cosmin Contra has revealed his delight following Saturday's 2-2 draw against Barcelona.

Angel Lafita scored twice, including a last-minute equaliser, as the capital outfit moved three points clear of the relegation zone with a point at the Camp Nou.

"We stood up for ourselves against a great team and we believed right to the end," Inside Spanish Football quotes Contra as telling reporters.

"I only have words of praise for my players."

Getafe, who have now won their last two in La Liga, return to league action at home to Sevilla next weekend.
