Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has praised his players for their showing in Saturday's emphatic 6-0 victory against Elche.
The Catalan giants took 36 minutes to break down their resilient opponents, but there was no looking back from that stage on as Lionel Messi and Neymar led the charge.
Following his side's biggest away win of the season, Enrique told the club's official website: "These games are always hard to get going, but after the first goal we broke free and took control.
"In the opening minutes your opponents are still fresh and they are defending close to their own area, so it's normal that it's hard to break them down. You try and play at your best and we were confident in our abilities and were able to create plenty of chances".
The victory ensures that Barcelona keep pace with La Liga leaders Read Madrid, with just one point separating the pair at the top of the table.
