Andres Iniesta has called on his Barcelona side to learn from their shock 2-1 defeat to Alaves at the weekend.
Barcelona entered Saturday's clash at Camp Nou as the heavy favourites to record a third straight La Liga victory, but newly-promoted Alaves secured all the points courtesy of smart finish from Ibai Gomez.
Javier Mascherano has been criticised for his part in Gomez's winner, but Iniesta has refused to point the finger and insists that his team will win and lose together as they seek to make it another successful season.
"Football is all about success and mistakes. What happened to Mascherano could have happened to anyone. It was one of those games where nothing came off. We didn't do things well and we've paid with a defeat and the loss of three important points," Iniesta told reporters.
"Of course this has been a bad performance, but now it's about analysing the causes and correcting the errors. You have to be patient. We're at the beginning of the season and there's a long way to go. Each game has its own story. We have to analyse why Saturday's result occurred, but this should not affect us in the Champions League against Celtic."
Barcelona will begin their 2016-17 Champions League campaign at home to Scottish champions Celtic on Tuesday night.
