Ivan Rakitic has warned his Barcelona teammates that the "perfect" performance is needed to beat his former club Sevilla to the UEFA Super Cup next Tuesday.
Both Spanish outfits go face to face in Georgia next week as Champions League winners Barca look to edge out the Rojiblancos - who won the Europa League - for a fourth successive trophy.
Rakitic is no stranger to Sevilla after spending three years at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan before joining the Catalans last summer.
Consequently, the Croatia international warns that only a flawless performance will do against Unai Emery's side.
"I've said I don't like to play against Sevilla because as a Sevilla fan, I want Sevilla to win, but as a professional I want to win the trophy," he told AS.
"I see they've changed a lot of pieces and have done well again. We'll have to have a perfect match to win, because I know how Emery and his staff work.
"The Super Cup is very special, a very nice game. I really want to play in it, because last year I couldn't, having already left Sevilla. It will be unforgettable."
Luis Enrique's side also won La Liga and the Copa del Rey last term.
