Luis Enrique: 'Rotation was key'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique says that he was "very happy" to be able to rest players in Sunday's La Liga clash against Levante and still comfortably win the game.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has revealed that he was "very happy" with his team's 4-1 win over Levante on Sunday when considering the experimental XI that took to the field.

The Catalan outfit are back in La Liga action against Celta Vigo on Wednesday and with that in mind, Enrique decided to make a whole host of changes at Camp Nou.

Munir El-Haddadi, Sandro Ramirez, Marc Bartra and Adriano were among those that came into the team, but the Catalan side still proved too strong on the night.

"I'm very happy as we showed [we could win with] different resources. In 22 days, we will play seven games, so the players need rest and minutes must be distributed," Enrique told reporters.

Barcelona have won all four of their league fixtures this season and currently sit atop the La Liga table on 12 points.
