Lionel Messi claims 30-minute hat-trick

Lionel Messi has scored a hat-trick within the opening 30 minutes of Barcelona's home match against Real Mallorca this evening.

The Argentinian striker broke the deadlock from the penalty spot, before going on to add a further two goals before the break.

The trio of goals has marked the 12th time that Messi has claimed a hat-trick in Barca colours. It is also his third hat-trick of the season.

Barca lead the match 3-0 at the break.
