Paris Saint-Germain winger Neymar has confirmed his desire to stay in the French capital after issuing a statement.
The Brazilian has endured difficult spells during his time at the Parc des Princes, most recently in March, when fans booed Neymar and Lionel Messi after the side were knocked out of the Champions League.
Various reports have suggested that PSG are open to selling Neymar this summer, with former club Barcelona on the radar, after he arrived in France from Camp Nou for £199m in 2020.
However, Neymar has now told reporters at OhMyGoal: "It is entirely true that I want to stay at PSG. Nobody has spoken to me about it at all. For my part, it is clear that I want to stay here in Paris."
The 30-year-old's statement is contrasting to what he said in a documentary earlier this year, previously stating that he 'felt better elsewhere' when deciding he wishes to leave the club.
Neymar has scored 100 goals and registered 60 assists in 144 appearances for PSG, and has a long-term contract until 2025.
