Brazilian forward Neymar has admitted that he cannot wait to link up with Lionel Messi at Barcelona next season.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Spanish outfit from Santos earlier this summer, is also confident that he can "make history" alongside the Argentine.

"[I hope it will] be a partnership to make history," the attacker told reporters at a press conference.

"We have everything for that to happen and it's an honour, a dream come true, to play alongside the best in the world and that is what persuaded me choose my European team."

Neymar cost Barcelona in the region of £48m.
