Long-term Barcelona target Neymar has notched up 100 career goals in double quick time.

The promising Brazilian marked his 20th birthday by scoring the opener for Santos against Palmeiras in the Sao Paulo state championship clash on Sunday.

The achievement was slightly undermined, as Palmeiras scored twice in the last two minutes to win the game 2-1.

Neymar is widely regarded as one of South America's most exciting footballing prospects and the player most likely to lead the Brazilian charge, when the nation hosts the 2014 World Cup.

The landmark goal was a header from six yards.
