Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has branded Barcelona forward Neymar "outstanding" after the youngster's performance in their 3-1 win over Portugal on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old provided Thiago Silva for the equaliser at the Gillette Stadium before scoring the second in the international friendly.
"Neymar was very good, outstanding. He has been playing well for three or four years now," Scolari told reporters at a press conference.
"Once in every 15 or 20 games or so he does not play at his usual level and his performance is a little bit less than normal. However, Neymar usually acts at the level he showed against Portugal."
Neymar has scored 26 goals in 42 games for Brazil.
