German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has revealed that he cannot wait to begin his Barcelona career.
The 22-year-old, who has signed a five-year deal at the Catalan outfit, will officially complete his move from Borussia Monchengladbach when the transfer window opens on July 1.
"I have been in this club for 18 years. I know that after the summer break life will go on, both for me and Borussia; but it's a weird feeling, because I'm going to miss Borussia greatly. On the other hand I am, of course, really looking forward to my new challenge," he told the German club's official website.
Ter Stegen will become Barcelona's new first-choice goalkeeper next season, with Victor Valdes and Jose Pinto both departing the Camp Nou this summer.
