Thiago Alcantara has no regrets about leaving Barcelona

Thiago Alcantara says that he has no regrets about leaving Barcelona for Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich playmaker Thiago Alcantara has claimed that he has no regrets about leaving Barcelona in the summer.

The Spaniard left the Liga champions to join up with his former coach Pep Guardiola, and he maintains that it was the right decision to do so.

He told reporters: "In life I will never regret what I did but I do miss Barca for the good times I had there.

"Although I will not say that I regret it. Players are always coming and going, the club is great and we are only a part. No club will miss any players.

"Barca's current playing style? They may be more direct, but in football results prevail, regardless of style, and Barca are winning, whilst also playing great."

Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga.
