Sports Mole looks at how Celta Vigo could line up in Saturday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Iago Aspas is once again expected to start, as Celta Vigo continue their 2024-25 La Liga campaign with a contest against division leaders Barcelona on Saturday night.

The 37-year-old has been in impressive form for the Sky Blues during the current season, scoring four goals and registering three assists in 12 appearances in all competitions.

Aspas has 11 career goals against Barcelona, meanwhile, making him the second-highest goalscorer behind Lionel Messi (12) in La Liga matches between Celta and the Catalan giants, so he is chasing some history this weekend.

Celta head coach Claudio Giraldez will need to make checks on three players ahead of this match, with Luca de la Torre, Sergio Carreira and Jailson remaining injury doubts for the Vigo outfit.

The Sky Blues have not reported any fresh concerns, but there could be a change from the side that started the 2-2 draw against Real Betis before the international break, with Javier Manquillo potentially replacing Mihailo Ristic.

Borja Iglesias has scored four times in La Liga for Celta during the 2024-25 campaign, and the striker is again set to start, while Jonathan Bamba is also expected to retain his spot in an attacking area.

It is also set to be a special match for Marcos Alonso, as the defender prepares to line up against his former club.

Celta Vigo possible starting lineup: Guaita; J Rodriguez, Starfelt, Alonso; Mingueza, Sotelo, Beltran, Manquillo; Bamba, Iglesias, Aspas
