Munir El Haddadi is pushing to return to the Leganes XI for Sunday's La Liga contest with Barcelona.
The 29-year-old turned out for Barcelona between 2011 and 2018, including 56 senior appearances, but he is now with Leganes, joining the promoted outfit on a free transfer over the summer.
Munir has come up with three goals in 12 appearances for El Lega this season, and he is expected to be back in the starting side for the first time since the 3-0 loss to Real Madrid on November 24.
Darko Brasanac, Dani Raba and Enric Franquesa will miss the match through injury, while Valentin Rosier is suspended due to the milestone booking that he picked up against Real Sociedad last time out.
Rosier's spot is likely to be taken by Adria Alti, who has nine league appearances to his name this term.
Head coach Borja Jimenez is expected to resist the temptation to completely shuffle his pack from the side that took to the field for the first whistle against Real Sociedad despite the disappointing 3-0 defeat.
Juan Cruz could also come in for a start, but Miguel de la Fuente should continue through the middle for the promoted outfit, leaving Sebastien Haller in reserve.
Leganes possible starting lineup: Dmitrovic; Alti, Gonzalez, Nastasic, Hernandez; Tapia, Neyou; Munir, Rodriguez, Cruz; De la Fuente
