Sevilla lineup vs. Barcelona: Predicted XI for La Liga clash

Who replaces Nianzou? How Sevilla could line up against Barcelona

Sports Mole looks at how Sevilla could line up in Sunday's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Sevilla head coach Garcia Pimienta will have to make a change in the middle of his defence for Sunday's La Liga clash against Barcelona, with Tanguy Nianzou out of the contest through suspension.

Nianzou was sent off in the latter stages of his side's 1-0 win over Real Betis in the Seville derby last time out.

As a result, there will have to be at least one change to the XI that featured before the international break, and Kike Salas is likely to be the player to benefit, with the Spaniard in line for a spot in the back four.

Sevilla have not reported any fresh injury concerns ahead of the match, but Djibril Sow and Saul Niguez remain unavailable for selection, with the duo on the sidelines due to fitness issues.

Due to the manner of the performance and indeed result against Real Betis last time out, it would be a surprise if there were changes to the side, other than Nianzou, for the game against Barcelona.

Isaac Romero is set to continue as the centre-forward, with Kelechi Iheanacho on the bench.

Jose Angel Carmona should be given the nod over Jesus Navas at right-back, while Peque Fernandez is again likely to operate as the number 10, with Dodi Lukebakio and Chidera Ejuke on the wings for the visitors.

Sevilla possible starting lineup: Nyland; Carmona, Bade, Salas, Pedrosa; Agoume, Gudelj; Lukebakio, Fernandez, Ejuke; Romero
