Preview: Mallorca vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole previews Barcelona's first La Liga game against Mallorca since losing to Celtic in the Champions League.

Mallorca welcome Barcelona to the Iberostar for a tough encounter in La Liga, with the away side determined to get back on track following their disappointing Champions League result.

The Copa del Rey holders were stunned by a 2-1 defeat to Celtic in Scotland earlier this week and Mallorca will try to take advantage of their recent loss this weekend.

Barca are yet to lose a game in the league this season, while the home side have been defeated in half of their games so far in the campaign but they will hope to draw on their positive home form when Tito Vilanova's side arrive.

The Catalans are likely to start with Lionel Messi, and David Villa is in contention for a starting spot, while Victor, Tomer Hemed and Arizmendi should lead the attack for the home side.

Recent form:

Mallorca: LLLLL

Barcelona: WDWWW

Possible lineups:

Mallorca: Aouate; Conceicao, Geromel; Bigas, Pina, Pereira, Marti, Lopez; Hemed, Victor, Arizmendi

Barcelona: Valdes; Alba, Adriano, Mascherano; Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Fabregas, Villa, Messi, Pedro

Sports Mole says: 0-3
