The agent of Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has ruled out the prospect of his client leaving to join Barcelona.
With the Old Lady thought to be closing in on a deal for Fiorentina frontman Dusan Vlahovic, Morata's short-term future in Turin has understandably been called into question.
The 29-year-old - currently on loan at Juve from Atletico Madrid - has been tipped to head to Barca on loan for the remainder of the 2021-22 season, but the Spaniard's agent Marco Branca has now shot down those links.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Branca said: "The road to Barcelona is no longer durable. Alvaro feels well in Turin and we'll see what will happen with Atletico Madrid in the summer.
"I am optimistic about his future in Black and White. Like Benzema, he works a lot for the team and he wasn't scoring many goals with Cristiano Ronaldo."
Barcelona are still believed to harbour hopes of a summer deal for Morata, who boasts eight goals and five assists from 29 matches in all competitions so far this season.
The former Chelsea man's contract with parent club Atletico - where he has struck 22 goals in 61 appearances - is due to expire in the summer of 2023.
