Barcelona players 'angry with Josep Maria Bartomeu over Neymar bid'

Barcelona players feel that club president Josep Maria Bartomeu is not doing enough to re-sign Neymar, according to a report.

Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reportedly angered a number of the club's players in his attempts to bring Neymar back from Paris Saint-Germain.

Neymar continues to be linked with a return to Camp Nou, while Real Madrid are also said to be interested in signing the 27-year-old before the European transfer window closes on September 2.

According to Marca, Neymar has informed his former teammates that Barca have only bid €140m (£127m) for his services, which is significantly less than PSG want for the Brazil international.

As a result, the report claims that the Barca dressing room feel that Bartomeu is 'not doing enough' to bring the South American back to the club before the summer window closes.

The former Santos youngster has scored 51 goals in 58 appearances for his French club since arriving from Camp Nou in the summer of 2017.

However, the attacker is yet to feature for Thomas Tuchel's side in the early stages of the 2019-20 campaign amid the speculation surrounding his future.
