Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has played down suggestions that his club want to re-sign Neymar this summer with Paris Saint-Germain not interested in selling the Brazil international.
Neymar's future has been the subject of much speculation over the last few weeks, with the attacker reportedly making it clear that he no longer wants to represent the French champions.
Barca have been strongly linked with a swoop for the 27-year-old, who scored 105 times in 186 appearances for the Catalan giants before leaving for PSG in the summer of 2017.
However, Bartomeu has claimed that his club are not trying to bring the South American back to Camp Nou as the the Ligue 1 giants are simply not interested in a sale.
"We know that he wants to leave Paris Saint Germain but we know that they don't want him to leave so there is no case [to answer]," Bartomeu told reporters at a press conference.
Neymar, who has been absent from Brazil's 2019 Copa America campaign due to ankle injury, scored 23 times in 28 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side last term.
Bartomeu, however, has revealed that his club are in talks with Atletico Madrid over a potential deal for Antoine Griezmann ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
A deal for Griezmann could see Ousmane Dembele made surplus to requirements at Camp Nou, although talk of a switch to Bayern Munich has been played down by the Frenchman's agent.
