Barcelona are allegedly considering an approach for Real Zaragoza forward Luis Suarez to replace his injured namesake at Camp Nou.

Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Real Zaragoza forward Luis Suarez to replace his injured namesake at Camp Nou.

With Ousmane Dembele having recently joined Barca's Luis Suarez on the sidelines until at least May, the Catalan giants may be able to bring in an emergency replacement.

While Alaves attacker Lucas Perez is said to be an option, El Larguero Santi Ovalle says that Zaragoza's Suarez is on the radar of the Catalan giants.

The Spanish journalist says that contact has already been made with 22-year-old, who has netted 14 goals at the second tier this season.

Much could depend on how much Barcelona are willing to spend on a player who is likely to be regarded as a short-term option.
