Valencia reach an agreement with Barcelona to loan Rafinha for the rest of the season, according to a report.

Valencia have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona to loan Rafinha for the 2019-20 campaign.

The 26-year-old has featured in both of Barca's La Liga matches at the start of the new season, with injuries to the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi seeing the attacker benefit.

Talk of a move away from Camp Nou has gathered pace in recent weeks, though, with Barca seemingly prepared to send the Brazil international out on loan for the rest of the season.

According to Diario Sport, Valencia have now agreed to sign the South American, although Los Che owner Peter Lim is yet to give his final approval to allow the switch to be completed.

Rafinha has missed large chunks of football in recent seasons due to two separate knee injuries.

The versatile attacker has still made 89 first-team appearances for the Catalan giants, though, and excelled during a loan spell at Celta Vigo in 2013-14.
