Barcelona consider Nilmar bid

Barcelona are reportedly tracking Villarreal's Brazilian striker Nilmar.

The 27-year-old, who has scored 26 goals in 85 matches for the Yellow Submarine, is regarded as a key squad member at El Madrigal.

However, reports have claimed that Villarreal will be forced to sell a number of players following their recent relegation from La Liga.

That news has alerted Barca, who are preparing a £6.5m offer to secure Nilmar's services, according to Marca.

Nilmar has two years remaining on his current contract with Villarreal.
