Barcelona have reportedly denied that they have agreed a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of Neymar.
The Brazil international's future remains the subject of widespread speculation, with both Barca and Real Madrid said to be fighting to sign him before the European transfer window closes on September 2.
Reports in Italy on Thursday afternoon had claimed that a big-money switch to Camp Nou was close to being completed as the Spanish champions had finally agreed a transfer figure with PSG.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have branded the reports 'false', with the Catalan outfit yet to settle on a fee for a player who has not turned out for his French team this season.
Ivan Rakitic, Jean-Clair Todibo and Ousmane Dembele have all been mentioned as possible makeweights in the deal as Barca look to reduce PSG's asking price - said to be in the region of £200m.
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu and PSG counterpart Nasser Al-Khelaifi are currently in Monaco for the Champions League group-stage draw, which took place on Thursday evening.
Neymar has scored 51 times in 58 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side in all competitions.
