Barcelona have reportedly withdrawn their interest in signing Real Sociedad forward Willian Jose.
After long-term injuries to Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez, the Catalan giants have been given permission to sign an emergency replacement.
While Barcelona have been attempting to sign Willian Jose, the two Spanish clubs have remained far apart in discussions over a fee.
According to Marca, this has led to last year's La Liga champions moving on to other targets after refusing to go as high as €35m (£29.37m).
The 28-year-old also has a release clause which is double that amount, a figure which has been acknowledged by head coach head coach Imanol Alguacil.
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in Real Zaragoza's Luis Suarez.
