Barcelona eye Lyon forward Moussa Dembele as Luis Suarez replacement?

Barcelona reportedly identify Lyon forward Moussa Dembele as a potential replacement for Luis Suarez, who has been told that he can leave Camp Nou.

Lyon forward Moussa Dembele has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Barcelona.

With Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez potentially departing Camp Nou this summer, the Catalan giants must consider alternatives to the legendary pair.

While transfer funds are currently said to be tight, it appears that club officials are prepared to give the green light to a big-money move for Dembele.

According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, recently-appointed coach Henrik Larsson has spoken to the Frenchman regarding a switch to the La Liga runners-up.

The Swede and the 24-year-old are familiar with each other through their link to Celtic, where they both topped the goalscoring charts for numerous years.

Although Lyon would prefer not to sell Dembele, failure to qualify for this season's Champions League could force the Ligue 1 outfit's hand over the coming weeks.
