Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Argentinos Juniors youngster Matias Galarza.
The 19-year-old has already made five appearances for the senior team in all competitions, registering one goal and one assist from the middle of the park.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona have been alerted to Galarza's rise and will soon send a delegation out to Argentina to track the teenager's development.
The report adds that Galarza would currently command a fee of just €500k (£416k.5k), but Argentinos Juniors are sure to ask for more given his contract situation.
Galarza - who claimed an assist against CA Sarmiento on his Liga Profesional debut last December - is not due to become a free agent until the end of the 2025 season.
The Argentine has already made four starts in the 2022 Copa de la Liga and scored his first goal for the club in a 3-0 success over Newell's Old Boys on February 15.
