Barcelona reportedly want to bring former starlet Kays Ruiz-Atil back to the club this summer, with the 18-year-old's Paris Saint-Germain deal set to expire in June.

Barcelona are reportedly hoping to re-sign Kays Ruiz-Atil from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The 18-year-old spent six years in the La Masia academy at Barcelona before departing for PSG in 2015, where he has progressed through the youth ranks up to the senior team.

However, Ruiz-Atil's contract at the Parc des Princes is due to expire in June, and with no progress believed to have been made over a renewal, Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona will hope to lure him back to Catalonia.

The report adds that Ruiz-Atil would initially link up with the B team for the 2021-22 season, but Ronald Koeman would hope to promote him to the first team quickly.

Ruiz-Atil made seven Ligue 1 appearances for PSG under Thomas Tuchel earlier this season - starting in their opening-day defeat to Lens - but the midfielder has since been demoted to the Under-19 team as he runs down his contract.
