Barcelona's Lautaro Martinez move dependent on Luis Suarez?

Barcelona will reportedly only pursue a deal for Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez if Luis Suarez leaves Camp Nou.

Barcelona will reportedly end their efforts to sign Lautaro Martinez this summer if Luis Suarez remains at Camp Nou.

While the Catalan giants have long been linked with the forward, president Josep Maria Bartomeu has recently acknowledged that negotiations have been halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

However, according to reports in Spain, there remains a way in which the 22-year-old could still move to the La Liga runners-up this summer.

Should Suarez accept an offer to move to the MLS, Barcelona are likely to reopen discussions with Martinez and Inter.

The Argentina international will spend another year at San Siro if Suarez opts to see out the remainder of his contract.

Barcelona allegedly have no intention of signing Martinez until he is regarded as a key man in the final third.
