Denis Suarez is reportedly determined to prove himself at Barcelona and will not seek a move in the January transfer window.

Spanish attacker Denis Suarez is reportedly determined to prove himself at Barcelona.

Suarez has not played a single minute of La Liga football this term, with his only action - two first-team appearances - coming in the Copa del Rey and Champions League.

The 24-year-old scored three times in 27 appearances for Barcelona last season, but he has not been in the plans of head coach Ernesto Valverde in the early stages of the 2018-19 campaign.

AC Milan, Arsenal and Chelsea are just three of the clubs linked with a move for the Spaniard, who was believed to be keen to leave Camp Nou during the January transfer window.

However, according to Goal.com, Suarez is convinced that he can still make the grade at Barcelona, and will not seek a move at the start of 2019.

Barcelona will attempt to return to winning ways in La Liga when they host Villarreal on Sunday.
