Former Barcelona defender Javier Mascherano has completed a switch to Chinese Super League outfit Hebei China Fortune.
The move was confirmed following an announcement from the Argentine's previous employers that Mascherano was leaving Spain after more than seven years.
The 33-year-old, whose new side are managed by ex-Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini, will link up with fellow countryman Ezequiel Lavezzi in the Far East.
Mascherano joined Barcelona from Liverpool in August 2010 following another spell in the Premier League with West Ham United.
While at Camp Nou, the Argentine won four La Liga titles and two Champions League crowns.
