Robert Lewandowski reportedly no longer feels "valued" at Bayern Munich following their attempts to sign Manchester City-bound Erling Braut Haaland.

Robert Lewandowski is once again considering his future at Bayern Munich following the club's pursuit of Erling Braut Haaland, according to a report.

During his eight years in Bavaria, Lewandowski has established himself as one of the world's most clinical centre-forwards with 343 goals in 373 games for Bayern, as well as contributing 72 assists.

The Poland international will turn 34 in August but is still showing no signs of slowing down, registering 49 goals and seven assists in 45 fixtures in the 2021-22 campaign.

Lewandowski's trophy haul at the Allianz Arena includes eight Bundesliga titles, a Champions League crown and four DFB-Pokals, but his future is now being called into question.

The former Borussia Dortmund man sees his current terms with the German champions expire in 2023, and talks over an extension are yet to lead to a positive solution.

Furthermore, Bayern Munich were tipped as one of the sides ready to do battle for the signature of Haaland, who is now confirmed to be moving to Manchester City this summer.

Given Lewandowski's hot goalscoring form at the age of 33, Bayern director Hasan Salihamidzic had previously affirmed that his side were not in the running for Haaland's services.

However, Salihamidzic's words contradict a report from German outlet Bild, who claim that Bayern were attempting to lure Haaland to the Allianz Arena until the very last minute.

As a result, Lewandowski allegedly does not feel 'valued' at Bayern anymore due to their intense pursuit of Haaland, plunging his future at the club into fresh doubt.

The report adds that the Polish striker has also been left dissatisfied by Bayern's recent offer of an extension, as he is after a two-year contract on better financial terms than the one-year offer on the table.

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn has ruled out the prospect of Lewandowski leaving this summer, but Julian Nagelsmann's side will be left in a tricky situation if the striker opts against penning a new deal.

Barcelona continue to be strongly linked with a move for Lewandowski, who has supposedly earmarked the Catalan giants as his 'dream club' amid the speculation surrounding his future.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang arrived at Camp Nou from Arsenal in January, but Xavi's side could be in the market for a new centre-forward as Luuk de Jong and Martin Braithwaite prepare to leave.

Memphis Depay has allegedly also been listed for transfer by Barcelona, who are said to have drawn up a four-man shortlist of attacking options for the upcoming window.

Lewandowski will aim to break the 50-goal mark for the season when Bayern travel to Wolfsburg for the 34th and final matchday of the Bundesliga campaign on Saturday.
