Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar is allegedly open to extending his contract at Parc des Princes, despite the possibility of a reunion with Barcelona.

Neymar is reportedly open to extending his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, despite speculation regarding a potential reunion with Barcelona.

Throughout the summer transfer window, Neymar was strongly linked with a return to Camp Nou, only for a deal to fail to come to fruition.

With less than two-and-a-half years left on the 28-year-old's contract, PSG find themselves in a position where they must start to consider the future of one of their most prized assets.

However, according to reports in Spain, the attacker is prepared to entertain staying at Parc des Princes, rather than pursue another spell in La Liga.

Since signing for PSG in 2017, Neymar has scored 67 goals from 77 appearances in all competitions.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has revealed that he would prefer his former teammate to re-sign for the Catalan giants in the summer.
