Barcelona's Ivan Rakitic 'willing to negotiate with PSG as part of Neymar swap'

Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is reportedly prepared to hold discussions with Paris Saint-Germain ahead of a potential deal involving Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly confident of signing Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic in the coming days.

While he has enjoyed a successful five-year period with the Catalan giants, the 31-year-old has frequently been linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer.

Given their desire to push through a deal for Neymar, Barcelona have shown a willingness to include the Croatia international in part-exchange as they look to lower their financial outlay for the forward.

According to AS, Rakitic has now indicated that he is open to signing for PSG before Monday's deadline.

The report claims that the French club's media team have already started to put together a video for social media, while preparations are underway to formally mark his arrival.

Rakitic is yet to start a La Liga fixture for Barcelona this season.
