Lionel Messi believes that Argentina are capable of winning the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The Barcelona attacker has won a host of honours with the Catalan club, but so far has yet to claim a title while on international duty.
However, under the guidance of new coach Alejandro Sabella, Messi feels that success is not too far away.
"I still have this dream and that is to be a world champion and lift the Copa America with the national side," Messi said in an interview with the Argentina Football Association. "And I know I'll do it, I am convinced I shall."
"I would love to win a title with the national team, but I am just another one in the group who wants to do the best for Argentine football, nothing more."
The 24-year-old has made 66 appearances for the national team.
