Bjorn Bergmann Sigudarson scores the only goal of the first half to give Wolverhampton Wanderers the lead against Barnsley.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been the better team in the first half against Barnsley and go into the break leading 1-0 at Oakwell.

The visitors made a bright start and went ahead in the seventh minute, as Bjorn Sigudarson rounded Luke Steele before applying the finish.

Sylvain Ebanks-Blake was the next to test Steele, before Jamie O'Hara struck the underside of the bar.

Kaspars Gorkss and Jack Robinson then combined to set up Bakary Sako, but the angle proved too tight for the Frenchman as he fired over the bar.
