Barnsley striker Chris O'Grady has said that he is happy at the Championship club.
The 27-year-old striker joined the outfit on a permanent deal from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, having played on loan for them during the second half of last season.
"It's nice to be wanted by a club and a manager, but I wasn't by the manager at Wednesday," he told the Sheffield Star. "The fans were brilliant with me and I got so much support, but for whatever reason, the manager didn't like me.
"From day one Dave Jones identified that I was not one of his players, for whatever reason, so I had to come to terms with that. But as long as I'm contracted for any club I'll always try my hardest and I tried to prove that I could be part of the team.
"I was proud of what I did and achieved at Wednesday, it's a great club and they have great supporters. However, it just felt right for me to move to Barnsley and it's been nice to be wanted by the manager."
O'Grady was on Wednesday's books from 2011 to 2013.
