Barnsley have announced the capture of winger Liam Lawrence until the end of the season.
The Championship outfit have acquired the services of the 32-year-old, who was released from his two-year contract at Greek outfit PAOK yesterday.
The club have confirmed on their official website that Lawrence, who will wear the number 14 shirt, could make his debut against Blackpool on Saturday providing he is given international clearance.
The Republic of Ireland international has had playing stints at Sunderland, Stoke City and Cardiff City throughout his career.
